Known as “Dr. Gold” at the children’s hospital, she offers a variety of child-focused medical services, including specialized care for adolescent eating disorders and adolescent gynecology. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is an active member of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine in addition to being a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

After receiving her undergraduate education from the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada, Dr. Gold earned her medical degree with highest honors from Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, Florida. She completed her postdoctoral training in adolescent medicine at North Shore-LIJ Health System and her training in pediatrics with at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn.

Dr. Gold is an assistant professor of pediatrics at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and an attending physician at Northwell Health’s Cohen Children’s Medical Center in the pediatric residency and adolescent medicine fellowship programs. She is also affiliated with New York Presbyterian Queens in Flushing, New York. Dr. Gold served as a medical officer in the United States Merchant Marine Academy, and worked with the Nassau and New York City school-based health centers as a school physician.

With a passion for adolescent medicine, Dr. Gold has written peer-reviewed reports and published articles about eating disorders, obesity, and gynecology. She has also presented her research at the annual meetings of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine. Together with her compassionate nursing and support staff at MD1CARE, Dr. Gold provides the highest-quality medical care for children of all ages, including annual physicals, immunizations, adolescent gynecology, and mental health evaluations. She genuinely cares about the health and wellness of her patients, creating custom treatment plans to address their needs and promote long-term health.

Dr. Gold was voted “Best Pediatrician” for 2020 in the Borough of Queens. Dr. Gold is a local Bayside mom who enjoys baking and gardening. She enjoys taking walks around the city’s parks. Interesting facts: Dr. Gold is a Harry Potter fan, likes to snowboard, and has completed a full marathon.
